Job Introduction

    To support Loan Recovery Officers or Branch Managers towards achieving bad debt recovery targets.

Job Description

  • Analyze and follow up credit product change and internal and external environmental factors and adapt loan recovery policy and procedure to reflect the real situation

  • Develop and update existing bad loan recovery policy and procedure to ensure they remain applicable to the internal situation and external environment

  • Lead and coach Bad Loan Recovery Officers and related parties to improve their skills and knowledge towards achieving loan recovery targets set by provincial managers

  • Deliver training and refresher sessions on bad loan recovery policy and procedure to all related staff for more effective and efficient problem solving

  • Support Bad Loan Recovery Officers and related staff on the legal aspects of late payment resolution with local authorities and in court to ensure satisfactory results

  • Support Bad Loan Recovery Officers and related parties facing challenging situations to help them recover the situation to normal and resolve late payment

  • Analyze the monthly loan loss reports of all branches and provincial offices and provide primary recommendations to Head of Credit Risk Department to ensure that necessary and timely actions are being taken to resolve late loan payments

  • Analyze the monthly debt collection reports produced by Bad Loan Recovery Officers and provide primary recommendations to Head of Credit Risk Department to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of debt recovery.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in finance and banking, marketing, law, or related fields

  • Minimum 2 years of work experience as credit officer and at least 2 years in supervisory role

  • Good oral and written communication in both Khmer and English

  • Good communication, interpersonal and motivational skills

  • Good Management and problem-solving skills and able to work under pressure.
